Product Owner

**Responsibilities**:
Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand user needs and translate business requirements into actionable stories.
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders—including designers, engineers, and business teams—on project updates, backlog status, and delivery timelines.

Product Ownership & Execution:

- Act as the primary owner of technical execution in one or more functional areas or modules within the marketplace platform.
- Support growth and demand initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver features that drive user acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
- Translate product strategy into clear, detailed requirements and user stories for the development team.
- Manage and groom the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current priorities, stakeholder needs, and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with engineering to plan and coordinate sprints, manage trade-offs, and ensure on-time delivery of features.

Front-End User Experience:

- Collaborate with UX designers to ensure user stories reflect usability and accessibility best practices.
- Participate in design reviews, user research sessions, and usability testing to validate feature functionality and front-end experience.

Performance Tracking:

- Define and track key metrics related to adoption, usage, and conversion.
- Use analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance of released features and identify areas for iteration.

Documentation & Process:

- Maintain up-to-date documentation including Jira tickets, Confluence pages, UX specs, and meeting notes.
- Participate in architectural and security reviews as needed to ensure product compliance and alignment.
- Support the QA process by reviewing test cases and validating that delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria.

Customer Interaction and Support:

- Triage feedback and support issues from customer-facing teams.
- Prioritize bug fixes and improvements based on customer impact and business value.

Industry Research and Innovation:

- Stay informed on evolving product ownership practices, agile methodologies, and marketplace trends.
- Contribute to retrospectives and process improvements to optimize team efficiency and product quality.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, UX Design, or Software Development, with a focus on front-end user experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering products using a structured, sequential Waterfall development methodology, including phase-based execution and comprehensive documentation; familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is also preferred.
- Proficiency with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and related platforms for backlog management, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Solid understanding of front-end development technologies and frameworks, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience in data analysis and interpretation, with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R.
