**Summary -**

The India team writes stories on everything from flailing fintechs to conglomerates led by some of Asia’s richest men, while also tracking the twists and turns in one of the world’s fastest growing stock markets. The team also spearheads economic data coverage in the Indian and Sri Lankan markets and delivers high profile breaking news alerts to clients at speed.

**About the role -**

We are looking for an astute reporter and/or snapper who can think on their feet.

**About you -**
- Have at least two years of experience in reporting or speed operations
- Write major stories across sectors and/or lead speed projects
- Build sector knowledge and contribute to a rich and diverse file
- Be familiar with editorial tools and embrace new technologies and workflows
- Spearhead discussions and initiatives around automation and AI usage in the team's speed operations
- Support the team's efforts to meet quality targets for accuracy and speed, and continually improve its performance
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to coordinate coverage and ensure the smooth operation of the team on a daily basis
- Experience using Reuters editorial tools, such as Lynx Fastwire, will be an advantage
