**India Company News Correspondent**

Reuters is seeking experienced business journalists with an established source network and a proven history of breaking news to enhance its coverage of everything from India’s IT behemoths to its biggest consumer brands; and new-age startups to the sprawling GCCs that drive innovation at some of the world’s largest MNCs.

The reporters would have to be comfortable covering everything from boardroom battles to succession sagas, and writing agenda-setting pieces for a global audience on relevant themes such as how AI is reshaping the future of work.

The ideal **Company News Correspondent **will:

- Work closely to ensure Reuters delivers a fast and comprehensive file on the biggest breaking business news stories on their beat.
- Strive to break news on companies and sectors, while also delivering deeper stories on evolving trends and themes.
- Possess excellent people skills and do what it takes to safeguard Reuters’ high editorial and ethical standards.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver fast, authoritative, and impactful coverage that will help Reuters’ clients.
- Turn around quick stories, while ensuring we deliver fast and impactful coverage around day-to-day corporate developments.
- Build and cultivate sources across companies to keep Reuters ahead in delivering market-moving scoops.
- Deliver forward-looking analytical pieces on sectoral trends and insightful stories on developments within India Inc.

**Experience & Expectations**:

- At least 5 years of experience as a financial journalist, preferably with experience covering company news in India and beyond.
- A deep source book and a proven ability in cultivating sources and breaking news.
- Excellent people and networking skills.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.

The roles will be based in Bangalore, but other centres will be considered.
