**Position**: Parent-Toddler Group Facilitator
**Location**: New York Academy
**Reporting To**: Academic Coordinator / Early Years Head

**Job Overview**:
The Parent-Toddler Group Facilitator is responsible for leading and managing engaging, age-appropriate activities for young children (typically aged 6 months to 3 years) along with their parents or caregivers. The facilitator fosters a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment that encourages early learning, social interaction, and parent-child bonding.

**Key Responsibilities:Program Planning & Facilitation**
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities, including sensory play, music, movement, storytelling, and early learning experiences as per the class activities scheduled by Coordiantor.
- Ensure sessions are engaging, interactive, and supportive of early childhood development milestones.
- Guide parents on best practices for stimulating their child’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

**Parent Engagement & Education**
- Foster positive relationships with parents/caregivers, providing guidance and resources on child development.
- Encourage parent participation in activities and discussions to enhance the learning experience.
- Address any concerns parents may have regarding their child’s progress and provide appropriate referrals if needed.

**Classroom & Environment Management**
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
- Set up and manage learning materials, toys, and resources before and after sessions.
- Ensure adherence to health, hygiene, and safety protocols.

**Collaboration & Reporting**
- Work closely with the Early Years team to align activities with school philosophy and curriculum goals.
- Maintain records of attendance, child progress, and feedback from parents.
- Provide periodic reports and updates to the management team regarding the program’s effectiveness and areas of improvement.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or a related field** (preferred), else freshers with passion in working with younger children also are preferred and who are willing to learn.
- Experience working with **young children and parents** in a structured group setting.
- Understanding of **early childhood development and age-appropriate activities**.
- Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills** to engage both children and parents effectively.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about working with infants and toddlers.
- Ability to manage group dynamics and maintain a **nurturing and positive learning environment**.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Previous experience in **parent-toddler programs, playgroups, Montessori, or early childhood centers**.
- Knowledge of **sensory play, music & movement, and interactive storytelling** techniques.
- Basic understanding of **first aid and emergency procedures**.

**Working Hours & Benefits**:

- 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM MON - SAT, 1st and 3rd Saturdays Holidays
