Key Responsibilities
**Teaching and Curriculum Development**: Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in Cognitive Sciences and Psychology, Mental Health, and related areas within the School of Social and Behavioural Sciences and across its campuses. o Design, develop, and periodically update course content and pedagogy in line with contemporary academic and industry standards.
**Centre Leadership**: Lead and manage operations of Mano Layam - Rhythm of the Mind Center for Well-being at SSBS. o Formulate and implement strategic plans addressing the emotional, behavioural, psychological, and social wellbeing needs of students, faculty, and staff. o Regularly review and refine policies, protocols, and ethical guidelines to maintain high professional standards.
**Student Mentoring and Doctoral Engagement**: Mentor and supervise students involved in internships, research projects, and community wellbeing initiatives related to mental health. o Serve as a advisor/co-advisor/doctoral committee member for PhD scholars.
**Research and Scholarly Activities**: Conduct advanced, interdisciplinary research in Counselling Psychology, Mental Health, and Cognitive Sciences. o Publish in reputed national and international journals and present findings at academic conferences. o Actively pursue research funding, grants, and collaborative projects to support and enhance the SSBS initiatives
