**Job Summary**:*

**Key Responsibilities**:*

**1. Quality Inspection & Control**:*
- Oversee the quality inspection of materials during the production process.
- Conduct thorough checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Ensure that all manufactured and procured materials meet company quality standards and specifications.
- Identify defects, non-conformities, and areas of improvement in the production process.
- Maintain quality control documentation and reports.

**2. Supplier Quality Management**:*
- Inspect incoming materials and components from suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
- Provide feedback to suppliers regarding defects, corrective actions, and preventive measures.

**3. Procurement & Supplier Coordination**:*
- Assist in identifying and evaluating new suppliers based on quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Engage in negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery timelines, and terms of procurement.
- Work towards establishing long-term supplier relationships for consistent quality and cost-effective sourcing.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining quality compliance.

**4. Compliance & Process Improvement**:*
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and internal quality guidelines.
- Participate in audits and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Continuously work on process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce defects.

**Key Requirements**:*
- Minimum *2 years of experience in a manufacturing industry* (preferably in *sheet metal components or modular furniture*).
- Strong knowledge of *quality inspection procedures* and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and quality specifications.
- Experience in working with suppliers for *quality resolution and procurement discussions*.
- Good communication and negotiation skills to engage with suppliers.
- Familiarity with *ISO quality standards* (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, documentation, and reporting.

**Preferred Qualifications**:*
- *Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree* in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Experience with *procurement and supplier negotiations* is an added advantage.
