**JOB SUMMARY**

Plan, organize and execute all quality control activities as per the procedure to meet the customer requirements. Communicate and coordinate with all the departments for the order execution orders. Continuously improve the process through CAR / PAR.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Must ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered at all times.
- Provide continual evaluation of the processes and methods, to assure that most effective use of resources and equipment.
- Plan for the inspection per the production and dispatch plan
- Ensure that the valid procedures and WI are available at work station.
- Ensure that calibrated inspection tools are available
- Manage budget and expenditures
- Ensure that all required trainings are imparted to quality inspectors.
- Review the inspection process
- Review Pending NCRS and communicate accordingly
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Communicate with all related department employees
- Suggest for the improvements through CAR / PAR
- Take active part in audits.

**FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare Daily plan for the inspection and display on shop floor
- Verify that the inspection process is going on as per procedure.
- Attend daily production meeting.
- Ensure that all inspections are completed as per the WO and reports are scanned and forwarded.
- Train employees for the procedures and processes
- Review inspection process,pending NCRs
- Review CAR / PARs
- Review pending and RW work orders
- Review scrap
- Collect and analyze the monthly cost of Quality data.
- Communicate the quality data to the concerned through meetings and mails.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma/ Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5/ 8 years of experience in Quality Control
- Must be proficient with computer skills
- Must have knowledge of all measuring instruments.
- Strong communication in English.
- Strong knowledge of NDE / ASTM / ISO / API requirements.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Manage day to day activities of an assigned area to insure compliance with customer requirements, third party requirements, API requirements and NOV quality processes and procedures.

**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES**
- NDT level II, Basic Welding knowledge, ASTM Standards
