**Job Description: Quality Supervisor cum Purchase Executive**

**Position**: Quality Supervisor cum Purchase Executive

**Department**:Procurement

**Location**: Pisoli, Katraj (Pune)

**Experience**: 1-5 yrs

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sourcing and Supplier Management**:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for required materials.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.

Obtain quotations, evaluate vendor proposals, and select the best suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.

**Negotiation and Contracting**:
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.

Finalize purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company policies.

**Logistics Coordination**:
Arrange transportation and logistics for purchased materials to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with internal departments and external logistics providers for smooth operations.

**Quality Assurance**:
Inspect purchased materials upon receipt to ensure they meet required quality standards.

Collaborate with the quality control team for detailed inspections and approvals.

**Record Keeping and Reporting**:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, supplier information, and inventory data.

Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

**Continuous Improvement**:
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in procurement.

Stay updated on market trends, new products, and industry best practices.

**Key Requirements**:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or any related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.

**Skills**:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.

Familiarity with quality inspection processes and standards.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement software.

**Additional Information**:
Reporting To: Procurement Manager

Working Hours: 8:30 am to 7:00 pm

Pay: From ₹240,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Quality Assurance: 1 year (preferred)
