Location: Angul (KL03AD01), IN- Company: GMR Kamalanga Energy Ltd.**JOB PURPOSE**:
Daily, Monthly and Yearly performance monitoring of the plant& its auxiliaries includes BTG, BOP, CHP and AHP along with preparation of the MIS regarding the Plant performance. MIS include Plant generation, Export, Coal and LDO/HFO oil consumption, Auxiliary Power consumption, Unit Heat rate. Conducting the Energy Audits for the entire plant and its auxiliaries. Along with the MIS to the management Analysis of critical events like preparation of the Event Analysis, Tripping analysis reports and their corrective and Preventive Maintenance actions. Implementation of the Integrated Management systems (IMS) includes ISO-9001/ 140001/180001/50001. Implementation of the OSI PI system

Plant Performance Analysis
- Heat rate

Reduction of Boiler and Turbine side Energy losses which can have significant impact on the Heat rate thereby reduction of the Fuel consumption and ultimately Savings in Fuel costs

Plant Performance Analysis
- APC

Reduction of Running hours and also the Optimization of the auxiliaries in BTG, BOP, AHP and CHP area there by reducing the Auxiliary power which can have significant impact on the Station Export thereby reduction of the Fuel consumption and ultimately Savings in Fuel costs

Energy Audits

Reduction of Energy losses through Energy audits there by reduction of the Fuel consumption and ultimately Savings in Fuel costs

Event Analysis& Tripping analysis

Root cause analysis of the Events and also the Tripping’s there by reduction of the recur of the same and also same type by taking Corrective and Preventive actions.

Implementation ISO-9001, 140001, 180001, 50001& OSI PI system

Implementation ISO systems so as to standardize the Plant operations includes Operation& Maintenance there by reduction of the minimum failures and optimize the operations and therefore improve the bottom line.

**Co-ordination with the OSI PI (OSI Plant Information) team for implementing the OSI PI system in better way
**Contacting with the ISO auditors for Conducting the Pre-assessment audits, Certification Audits& surveillance audits**

**To conduct the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) internal audits and Surveillance audits.**

**Adoption of the new system like VFD (Variable Frequency drives) in the plant**

**FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS**:

- Reduction in 1 Kcal of Unit heat rate reduces the fuel cost by Rs 29 Lac/ Annum
- Reduction in one unit Tripping (With warm start up) can save Rs 1crore

**OTHER DIMENSIONS**:

- During the Erection& Commissioning of the power plant handled more than 20 to 25 engineers and 30 Technicians
