**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee the daily operations of AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide expert guidance and support for iSeries/AS400 Administration tasks.
- Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to AS400 systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all AS400 operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for AS400 systems and procedures.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Train and mentor team members on AS400 operations and best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners for system maintenance and support.
- Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide technical expertise in the development of new projects and initiatives involving AS400 systems.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AS400 technology to ensure the company remains competitive.

**Qualifications**
- Must have extensive experience in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration.
- Should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Must have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Should be detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Must have experience in system upgrades enhancements and maintenance.
- Should be able to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for AS400 systems.
- Must have the ability to train and mentor team members on technical aspects of AS400 operations.
- Should be familiar with industry standards and best practices for AS400 systems.
- Must have experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Should be proactive in staying updated with the latest advancements in AS400 technology.
- Must have a strong understanding of compliance requirements for AS400 operations.
- Should possess excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Must be able to coordinate with vendors and external partners for system support and maintenance.
