**Role Summary**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Credit Risk Management: Assess new and existing customers' creditworthiness, adjusting credit limits and payment terms as necessary.
- Debt Collection: Implement effective strategies for collecting on overdue accounts while maintaining high levels of customer retention and loyalty.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on the status of credit and collections, maintaining accurate records of all chasing activities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ensure effective communication with customers to prompt payment of invoices and liaise with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any outstanding queries.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve the credit control process, aiming to reduce debtor days and enhance cash flow.

**Preferred Background**:

- Experience in credit control or collection, preferably within NBFCs (Non-Banking Financial Companies) and Freight Forwarding companies.
- Proven track record of improving cash flow and reducing debtor days through effective credit management strategies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess credit risk and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate payment plans effectively.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
