Job description
- Prepare an operating room for surgery.
- Assist surgeon during the procedure.
- Cleanse and disinfect surgical instruments and or equipment after surgeries
- Prepare surgical instruments and equipment for autoclave/sterilization per the protocol.
- Maintain and keep all equipment clean and functional.
- Prepare the patient before and after surgery by washing and disinfecting the area for surgery.
- Prepare necessary equipment and instruments prior to procedure/surgery.
- Clean and disinfect the operating room area after each procedure/surgeries.
- Report any defective equipment and instrument for repair or replacement.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- **Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Certification**: OT Technician.
- **Registration**: Current registration with the appropriate state board.
- **Experience**: Previous experience as an OR Technician preferred.(Minimum -5 years )
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent manual dexterity and coordination.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
