- **Patient care**: Preparing patients for surgery, monitoring their condition, and assisting with post-operative care.
- **Equipment maintenance**: Ensuring equipment is clean, functional, and readily available.
- **Infection control**: Following strict protocols to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infections.
- **Inventory management**: Maintaining adequate supplies and ordering new ones as needed.

In essence, OT technicians are the backbone of the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
