**Job Title**: Operation Theatre (OT) Technician

**Location**: Zen Kashi Cancer Hospital, Varanasi

**Job Summary**:
The OT Technician is responsible for preparing and maintaining the operation theatre and its equipment, assisting the surgical team during procedures, and ensuring sterilization and infection control protocols are followed strictly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing the operation theatre before surgery (cleaning, setting up instruments, checking equipment).
- Sterilize surgical instruments and ensure proper arrangement before and after procedures.
- Support surgeons and nurses during operations by handling instruments, providing materials, and maintaining aseptic conditions.
- Monitor and maintain OT inventory - linen, sutures, surgical instruments, consumables, and medications.
- Ensure proper functioning and regular maintenance of OT equipment.
- Help in shifting patients pre
- and post-operation to and from OT.
- Adhere to hospital protocols for infection control and sterilization.
- Maintain documentation and checklists related to surgeries and OT protocols.
- Cooperate with anesthetist, nurses, and other team members to ensure smooth conduct of surgeries.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology / OT Assistant Course from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with oncology-related procedures will be an added advantage.

**Key Skills**:

- Knowledge of surgical instruments and OT equipment
- Aseptic techniques and infection control
- Team coordination and communication
- Attention to detail and quick responsiveness
- Ability to remain calm in emergencies

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
