**projects**:
1. **Climate Scientist**:
The Climate Scientist will conduct research and analysis on climate change impacts,

adaptation strategies, and mitigation measures. This role involves working on climate models,

analyzing environmental data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing

scientific expertise to support climate resilience projects. The position requires a strong

foundation in climate science, an understanding of environmental systems, and the ability to

translate scientific findings into actionable recommendations.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Master’s degree and PhD in Climate Science, Atmospheric Science, Environmental

Science, Meteorology, or a related field with a biomedical science or medical

background

Minimum 5 years of experience in climate research, modeling, or related areas.

Strong understanding of climate models, statistical analysis, and data visualization.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB, with

experience handling large datasets.

Extensive Travel involved in around Tamil Nadu based on the project needs.

Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing data is an

advantage.

2. **Health Scientist and Public Health Specialist**:
The Senior Public Health Specialist with a medical background will leverage clinical

expertise and public health knowledge to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of

public health programs to improve population health outcomes. This role involves conducting

health research, needs assessments, providing technical guidance on public health research

and practices, and working closely with stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) or any other clinical stream with

specialization in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Community Medicine.

Master’s or Ph.D. in Public Health, Global Health, or a related field is an advantage.

At least 8-10 years of post-PG experience in clinical practice / public health

research/program management.

Extensive Travel involved in around Tamil Nadu based on the project needs

Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating public health programs

Research experience in clinical and public health research settings

Strong understanding of health systems, disease prevention, and clinical guidelines.

3. **Project Coordinator**: Responsible for coordinating and managing a nationwide Heat

stress research and intervention project aimed at mitigating the effects of extreme heat

on vulnerable populations. The role involves supervising the regional research teams,

and collaborating with stakeholders, and partners to ensure the successful

implementation of the project activities, monitoring progress, and reporting outcomes.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
MBBS with a post-graduation in clinical stream / MPH / Epidemiology,

Environmental Science, Climate Change, or a related field.

At least 2 years of post-PG experience in coordinating or managing research or

intervention projects, preferably in public health or climate change.

Experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with government agencies,

NGOs, and community groups.

Extensive Travel involved in around Tamil Nadu based on the project needs.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and

teams simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills and experience with data management and analysis.

Proficiency in using project management software and tools.

Willingness to travel extensively across India.
