We are looking for bright and passionate Interior and Exterior Trims - Design Engineers with experience in:

- Interior & Exterior - Plastics Design & product development
- Must have expertise designing plastic instrument panels, cockpits, consoles, door trims, and pillar trims
- Interior & Exterior trim updates on model year programmes, assuring timely virtual series and production releases
- Interior and exterior trim integration (design specifications, modelling).
- Lead completion of PE owned APQP deliverables and support delivery of Phased PPAP for owned components on time
- Oversee the Creation of Concept CAD geometry, using assigned CAD resource
- Lead design progression in line with the programme timescales and deliverable cadence
- Manage component cost and weight and deliver to agreed program targets
- Ensure all geometric and non-geometric data is current and represents maturity levels
- Liaise with the Core Testing and Validation team to verify compliance with risk prevention and detection controls
- Resolve engineering Issues and complete Engineering releases in a timely manner
- Lead cross-functional module teams and supplier reviews to tackle implementation barriers
- Support pre-production manufacturing updates
- Experience in DFMEA, DVP, DFA, DFM
- Automotive-design experience, Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Delivering production intent drawings
- CATIAV5, V6, 3D design, Agile experience
