**Job Title**: Junior Accountant

**Location**: Kolkata, HO

**Department**: Finance / Accounting

**Reports to**: Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager / Finance Director

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Record & entry daily financial transactions in the general ledger
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
- Helps secure sensitive financial data by assisting other team members with database creation and maintenance
- Corrects accounting errors and posts journal entry adjustments
- Can produce high-quality work regularly
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
- Completes other accounting tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
- Ability to analyze information in an objective and nonbiased manner
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Perform other administrative and accounting duties as required

**Desired Qualification & Skills**:

- B. Com/ M. Com/MBA Fin or Bachelor's degree in related field(60% & above)
- Good academic score in 10 class & 12 class (Above 60%)
- 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Talley, ERP etc.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
