Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Kolkata, HO

Department: Finance / Accounting

Reports to: Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager / Finance Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Record & entry daily financial transactions in the general ledger
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
  • Helps secure sensitive financial data by assisting other team members with database creation and maintenance
  • Corrects accounting errors and posts journal entry adjustments
  • Can produce high-quality work regularly
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
  • Completes other accounting tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
  • Ability to analyze information in an objective and nonbiased manner
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Perform other administrative and accounting duties as required

Desired Qualification & Skills:

  • B. Com/ M. Com/MBA Fin or Bachelor's degree in related field(60% & above)
  • Good academic score in 10 class & 12 class (Above 60%)
  • 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Talley, ERP etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
