Job Description

Primary functions and essential responsibilities
- Assist Loan Administration with daily processing: checking Ares owned DDAs for incoming wires outside of treasury worksheet and notify appropriate collateral analyst for processing, reconciliation of all daily collection posting and accuracy validation, vendor invoice processing including reconciliation and accuracy validation in Stucky and Coupa, maintain and validate SOFR interest amounts and other assigned loan administration assistance
- Maintain and monitor alerts from a 3rd party vendor’s system using client information, as well as key individuals related to a client. Follow up with data on existing client alerts with respective Credit Officers and senior management
- Review borrower’s collateral reporting package for accuracy, trends, and adherence to lender guidelines on a portfolio of secured revolving credit loans
- Calculate and monitor customer’s daily borrowing capacity and process funding requests
- Post collateral values to our proprietary loan monitoring platform (Stucky)
- Perform monthly accounts receivable verifications
- Maintain a monthly Client Checklist that will track borrower reporting and loan maintenance exceptions
- Involvement with the new business deal team in setting up the borrower’s initial borrowing base certificate using Field Exam and preparing the operations Handling Guide using negotiated legal documents
- Assist Credit Officers with daily portfolio management, risk assessment, due-diligence, and Investment Committee presentations
- On-going communication with fellow team members, customers, their customers, accounting, treasury and Ares senior management
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience Required: Strong grasp of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
