**Role Summary**

The Assistant Financial Controller is a key role responsible for overseeing the financial operations and management. This position requires a high level of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making, and implementing and maintaining effective financial controls and processes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain general accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that proper information is reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Assist in accounting functions which may include general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inter-company transactions.
- Implement policy/process changes and Pro-actively communicate process exceptions & bottlenecks to Senior Management / Stakeholders, as required.
- Preparing reconciliation between US GAAP and local GAAP and initiate necessary steps to bridge the balances as required.
- Process documents, exceptional reporting and periodical review.

**Key requirements**
- Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience.
- Well versed with HFM system of reporting
- Working knowledge in an ERP environment. Knowledge on ERP/ tools like Consolidation tools, Reconciliation tools, Analytical tools etc. would be an added advantage.
