Key Responsibilities:
- **Accurate and timely payroll processing**:This includes calculating wages, deductions, and taxes based on employee data and relevant regulations.
- **Maintaining payroll records**:This involves keeping detailed records of employee earnings, taxes, and deductions, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
- **Tax compliance**:Ensuring the company complies with all payroll-related tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and making payments on time.
- **Benefits administration**:Managing employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans, and ensuring accurate enrollments and changes.
- **Responding to employee inquiries**:Serving as the first point of contact for employees with questions or concerns about their pay, benefits, or taxes
