Join our vibrant team at Deisan, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences and high-quality products. Our store offers FMCG Eatery products and we are looking for a dynamic Sales Assistant to help our customers find exactly what they need.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering product knowledge and personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- **Sales**: Drive sales by understanding customer needs, upselling products, and meeting daily sales targets.
- **Merchandising**: Maintain the store's visual standards by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are presented attractively.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing stock to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize shrinkage.
- **Checkout Operations**: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
- **Store Maintenance**: Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and safe at all times, adhering to company policies and health and safety regulations.
- **Product Knowledge**: Stay informed about new arrivals, promotions, and trends to provide customers with up-to-date information and recommendations.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with team members and management to achieve store goals and create a positive work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- 10 +2 minimum requirement
