Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at a leading clothing store in Byculla, Mumbai. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their fashion needs, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. **Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect outfits, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences and needs.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the store's merchandise, including features, benefits, and current fashion trends.
- Efficiently handle customer inquiries, providing accurate information about products, pricing, and promotions.
- Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and digital payments, while maintaining accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking merchandise, and ensuring appealing visual displays.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on industry trends and actively participate in product training sessions.

Qualifications:

- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, especially in the fashion industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills to drive revenue and meet targets.
- A passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends and styling.
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and handling cash.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as per the store's operational hours.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in local languages is highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Quarterly bonus
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
