Fine Art Teacher

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive fine arts curriculum that covers various aspects of visual and/or performing arts, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, music, theater, dance, or digital media.
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and projects that foster creativity, self-expression, and artistic skills development among students.
- Provide instruction in fundamental techniques, concepts, and principles of fine arts, as well as exposure to historical and cultural perspectives on art.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore their artistic interests, take creative risks, and collaborate with their peers.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences in the fine arts classroom.
- Assess student learning and progress through ongoing formative assessment, portfolio reviews, critiques, performances, exhibitions, or other evaluative methods.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their artistic skills, develop their artistic voice, and achieve their creative goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues, departmental teams, and school leadership to integrate fine arts education into interdisciplinary units, projects, and initiatives.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events to enhance teaching skills, stay current on best practices in fine arts education, and support school-wide initiatives.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication, collaboration, and partnership.
- Uphold the highest standards of artistic integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all aspects of teaching and interactions with students and the school community.
- Engage in continuous reflection and self-assessment to improve teaching practices, instructional delivery, and student outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Performing Arts, or a related field (required); Master's degree preferred.
- Teaching certification or licensure in fine arts education (required).
- Previous experience teaching fine arts to students at the elementary, middle, or high school level (preferred).
- Strong artistic skills and expertise in one or more areas of fine arts, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, music, theater, dance, or digital media.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using technology tools and digital resources to enhance fine arts instruction and support student learning.
- Commitment to fostering creativity, artistic expression, and a love of the arts among students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success and achieve academic goals.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement as an educator and artist.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Trichy, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
