Production Supervisor

**Job Title**: Production Supervisor - CNC Shop (Automobile Parts Manufacturing)
**Location**: Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, India
**Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years
**Industry**: Tier 1 or Tier 2 Automobile Manufacturing
**Specialization**: CNC Machining (SG Iron Automobile Components)

**Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Operations**:

- Supervise and coordinate **daily production activities** to meet targets.
- Monitor **machine performance** and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Assist in **process optimization** to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain a steady **workflow** by efficiently managing manpower and machines.

**CNC Machining & Technical Supervision**:

- Oversee **CNC HTL (Lathe) and CNC VMC (Milling)** machine operations.
- Troubleshoot minor **CNC machining issues** and support operators in setup and adjustments.
- Ensure **correct part setting, tool selection, and machining parameters** for precision production.

**CNC Programming & Tooling**:

- Assist in **CNC program execution** and minor modifications.
- Ensure the correct **jigs, fixtures, tool holders, and cutting tools** are used for each job.
- Work with the production manager to **improve tooling and machining efficiency**.

**Shop Floor Management & Team Coordination**:

- Lead and guide a team of **machine operators and technicians**.
- Train and mentor new operators on **best machining practices**.
- Ensure **safety and cleanliness** on the production floor.
- Enforce company policies and ensure operators follow **work discipline and standard operating procedures (SOPs)**.

**Quality & Target Achievement**:

- Maintain high **quality standards** by ensuring proper inspections and checks.
- Ensure that production **meets output and efficiency targets**.
- Work closely with the **Quality and Maintenance** teams to resolve production issues.

**Qualifications & SkillsExperience & Technical Knowledge**:

- **3-5 years** of experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 **automobile CNC machining environment**.
- Hands-on knowledge of **CNC HTL (Lathe) and CNC VMC (Milling)** machines.
- Understanding of **CNC programming, part setting, and machining parameters**.
- Familiarity with **jigs, fixtures, chucks, tool holders, and tooling systems**.

**Leadership & Management Skills**:

- Ability to **supervise a team** and ensure smooth workflow.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills to **resolve shop floor challenges**.
