**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the **lead teacher** in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities.
- Provide **individual attention** to students, helping them with classwork, activities, and social interactions.
- Supervise and support children during **playtime, meal breaks, and nap time**.
- Ensure a **safe and hygienic** classroom environment by maintaining cleanliness and order.
- Prepare and organize **teaching materials, art supplies, and learning aids** as needed.
- Encourage **positive behavior, good manners, and social skills** among children.
- Help in **assessments and progress tracking**, maintaining student records under the lead teacher’s guidance.
- Support children in **basic self-care tasks** like washing hands, tying shoes, and using the restroom.
- Assist in **classroom decorations, event planning, and celebrations**.
- Communicate effectively with **teachers, parents, and school staff** regarding students’ needs and progress.

**Requirements**:
**Qualification**: Diploma / Certification in **Early Childhood Education, Montessori, NTT, or a related field** (preferred).

**Experience**: 1-3 years of experience as an **Assistant Teacher, Support Teacher, or Caregiver** in a preschool or early learning setting.
- Passionate about **working with young children** and supporting their learning journey.
- Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills**.
- Ability to **manage young learners with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm**.
- Basic understanding of **child development and classroom management**.

**Skills Description**

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with **Montessori / Play-way / IB PYP / Reggio Emilia** teaching approaches.
- Experience with **art, music, storytelling, and creative activities** for young children.
- First aid training or experience handling minor health and safety concerns.
