The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where young children (ages 3-5) can explore, learn, and grow. This role requires a teacher who can foster curiosity, emotional growth, and social development, while implementing an engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of young learners.ResponsibilitiesClassroom Instruction & Curriculum ImplementationDevelop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's early childhood education framework.Use a variety of teaching methods, materials, and activities to meet the individual learning needs of each child.Foster language, cognitive, and social skills through interactive play, storytelling, music, and movement.Classroom ManagementEstablish and maintain a positive, supportive, and well-organized classroom environment.Implement classroom routines and activities that support a safe, welcoming, and engaging atmosphere for children.Guide children in building positive social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.Assessment & Individualized LearningObserve and assess children's developmental progress and learning needs regularly.Maintain records of student performance and development, identifying areas for improvement and growth.Provide individualized support to students as needed, and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.Parent Communication & CollaborationCommunicate regularly with parents and caregivers about their child's progress, needs, and accomplishments.Conduct parent-teacher conferences as necessary to discuss child development and educational goals.Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure the holistic development of each child.Professional DevelopmentStay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.Participate in school-sponsored professional development workshops, training, and educational conferences.Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and learning outcomes.Other DutiesParticipate in school-wide activities, events, and programs as required.Assist in the organization and preparation of classroom materials and resources.Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.Skills DescriptionBachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field (or currently pursuing).Teaching certification or licensure in early childhood education is preferred.Previous experience teaching preschool or early childhood education is highly desirable.Strong understanding of child development and early learning strategies.Creative, enthusiastic, and able to engage young learners in meaningful activities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.Patient, nurturing, and committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a cohesive school culture.SkillsPre Primary TeacherPerks that make life at GSG even betterDiscover a world of extraordinary perks that go beyond the ordinary, making your experience in our company truly exceptional.Live wellAt GSF, we know that health is more than doctor visits and life is much more than work.
