**World History Curriculum Reviewer (Contract)**

This is an online, remote contract role.

**Project Description**

As a World History Expert for the Curriculum Review project, you'll be responsible for:

- Evaluating learning content for level-appropriateness, instructional quality, and usefulness
- Identifying content gaps and recommending improvements
- Providing detailed justification for content recommendations using academic sources

**Required Skills**:

- **Education**: Graduate degree OR Bachelor's degree with curriculum development experience
- **Experience**: Teaching or lecturing experience
- **Skills**:Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- **Competency**:Strong understanding of academic content organization

**Additional Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in curriculum development or instructional design
- Background in creating or reviewing academic materials
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices

**Subject-Specific Expertise**
- Deep understanding of World History fundamentals and advanced concepts
- Familiarity with current World History research and developments in the field
- Experience teaching World History at high school level
- Knowledge of common student misconceptions and learning challenges in World History
- Ability to align content with academic standards and learning objectives
