**Job Title: Endodontist**
- Being open to new ideas and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in the field of endodontics
- Reviewing patients' medical history and discussing their symptoms and concerns.
- Utilizing dental instruments and x-ray equipment to determine the cause of patients' oral pain and discomfort.
- Formulating suitable treatment plans based on the diagnosed dental condition.
- Performing non-surgical root canal treatment to treat damaged or infected tooth pulp.
- Performing endodontic surgery to clean canals that contain calcium deposits, assist in making accurate diagnoses, and treat damaged root surfaces or surrounding bone.
- Performing apicoectomies to treat persistent inflammation or infection occurring in the bony area around the end of the tooth.
- Maintaining teeth that have previously undergone root canal procedures.
- Completing a comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and progress notes on each patient.
- Assessing whether re-root canal treatment is required, and determining the number of sittings required for successful treatment outcomes
- Performing re-root canal treatment with precision, and ensuring proper apical closure following adequate bio-mechanical preparation and obturation
- Demonstrating proficiency in microscopic dentistry techniques
- Possessing expertise in using apex locators and endo-motors
- Analyzing and evaluating broken instruments in the canals and bypassing the broken files for better treatment outcomes
- Being an expert in perforation repairs
- Having a sound knowledge of materials and instruments required in endodontic procedures
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies used in endodontics, for e.g., obturation techniques
- Follow up of cases in the Endodontic department
- Following the General clinical and department SOP

**Endodontist Requirements**:

- Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)
- License to practice dentistry.
- Minimum experience of 3 years.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good hand-eye condition.
- A patient and empathetic disposition.

- 7 pm**

**Salary range**: ₹35,000 and above, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
