**Copy Editor (Experience : 2-6 years)**

**Location : Remote mode (Chennai)**

**Work Schedule / Timings : 3PM - 12 AM**

**We’re hiring a Copy Editor to join our Content team at Insider Intelligence, the leading provider of research focused on digital transformation.**

As copy editor, you are part of a team that acts as the final participants in a detailed review process to ensure the company’s editorial content is clear, concise and credible. You will work directly with Insider Intelligence’s Director of Report Editing, as well as with other editors, analysts, and writers. Our copy editors work on a variety of content, including long-form and short-form subscription reports, articles, visual slides, and graphics.

**Responsibilities**
- Copyedit, review and fact-check editorial content - which includes subscription reports, articles, decks and some charts - using our in-house style guide and AP Style.
- Proofread editorial content for accuracy and style, in the allotted time with the resulting text free of errors.
- Publish editorial content to our websites using proprietary content management systems.
- Efficiently communicate changes and questions to other team members, including editors, analysts, forecasters and chart creators.

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Previous editorial experience at a digital publication, newspaper or magazine.
- Knowledge of AP style and in-house style guides.
- Strong grammar, copy editing and communication skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple deadlines seamlessly.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledgeable of both Google Suite and Microsoft Office products.
- An undergraduate degree in English, journalism or related field, or equivalent experience

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
