Graph Softech is on the lookout for a dynamic Part-Time Content Editor to join our innovative team. **Duties**:

- Review and edit written content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style
- Ensure adherence to the Chicago Manual Style guidelines
- Fact check information and verify sources
- Collaborate with writers, and other team members to improve the quality of content
- Make suggestions for revisions to enhance readability and flow
- Proofread final drafts to identify and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax
- Ensure consistency in tone, style, and formatting across various documents

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a copy editor or similar role
- Excellent command of the English language and strong writing skills
- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word)
- Familiarity with proposal writing, research techniques, copywriting, journalism, and technical writing
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of different style guides
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
- Experience with proofreading symbols and markup language

As a Copy Editor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of written content. You will collaborate with writers and authors to refine their work while adhering to established style guidelines. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent writing skills, and a passion for maintaining high editorial standards, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that this is not an entry-level position. Previous experience as a copy editor or similar role is required.
