Job Description
- conduct daily plant round to observe unsafe acts/conditions and recommendations given &its record maintained. - Provide Safety Induction training - Prepare HIRA, Job Safety Analysis, Risk assessment. - To comply with legal requirements for safety, health, and environment - Submit Safety performance report weekly and monthly, safety statistics reports etc - responsible for Internal Audits - Inspection of PPE's & Fire Protection System, First Aid Appliances etc -.Ensure implementation of action points within the set time frame -.Conduct periodic mock-drills, prepare reports and implement action points Responsible for maintaining and improving Safety, Health and environment in plant operations Implementing ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems Investigation of accidents/incidents and taking appropriate corrective and preventive action maintaining work permit system Training people on Safety, Health and environment Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements wrt SHE are identified and fulfilled Train people on various types of risk assessment (Workplace, process, product, JSA) Ensure appropriate risk assessments and EIA are in place for all plant operations/activities and people are made aware on on respective hazards, environmental impacts and control measures on them. Review risk assessments and EIA regularly as per procedure Review/write SOPs with SHE instruction involved in it Put efforts for consistent improvements in SHE performance of plant Maintaining ETP and per CTO Ensure correct effluent treatment to comply with applicable regulatory requirement SHE monthly reporting to management Ensure safety and emergency equipments are adequate and are in operations all the time
