**R&D Incharge - Resins & Coatings**

Reports to: Head of R&D / Chief Technical Officer

Location: Boisar-Maharashtra

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Product Development**:
Lead the development of new resins and coatings based on market requirements, customer specifications, and sustainability initiatives.

Formulate and evaluate new products by conducting lab trials, scaling up production, and managing product performance assessments.

Oversee optimization of existing formulations to enhance product performance, quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

**Research and Innovation**:
Identify and integrate emerging technologies and materials into current and future product lines.

Collaborate with industry and academic partners to bring cutting-edge innovations to the company's product portfolio.

**Process and Quality Control**:
Implement and monitor lab testing protocols to ensure quality control and standardization of all resin and coating products.

Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and batch protocols for new product rollouts.

Analyze and troubleshoot production-related issues and collaborate with production teams to resolve technical challenges.

**Project Management**:
Plan and manage multiple R&D projects, including budget, timelines, resources, and team assignments.

Prepare and present project status reports, research findings, and technical presentations to management and stakeholders.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Production, and Quality Assurance, to ensure successful product launches.

**Compliance and Safety**:
Ensure all R&D processes comply with industry regulations (such as REACH, EPA) and environmental, health, and safety standards.

Maintain documentation related to safety data sheets (SDS), technical data sheets (TDS), and regulatory certifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.

**Experience**:
Minimum 10 years of experience in R&D within the resins, coatings, or related chemical industries.

Proven track record in leading resin formulation, product development, and commercializing innovative products.

**Skills**:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with hands-on experience in lab testing and analysis.

Proficiency in project management and ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in the chemical industry.

Effective communication skills for technical reporting and presentations.
