- **Cluster Management**:

- Design, deploy, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters in diverse environments, including on-premises, hybrid, and cloud setups.
- Manage lifecycle tasks such as upgrades, scaling, and capacity planning for OpenShift clusters.
- **CI/CD and Workload Optimization**:

- Implement, monitor, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- **Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution**:

- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Kubernetes, OpenShift, and associated components.
- Document troubleshooting guides, procedures, and configuration standards for OpenShift environments.
- **Security and Compliance**:

- Monitor compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
- **Automation and Infrastructure Management**:

- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
- Streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency through automation.
- **Monitoring and Performance Optimization**:

- Use monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and other solutions to track cluster health and performance.
- Optimize resources to achieve cost efficiency and high availability.
- **Persistent Storage and Networking**:

- Manage persistent storage, networking configurations, and third-party integrations within the OpenShift ecosystem.
- Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks (On-premises & Cloud - Azure/AWS) (1)
- Manage system/network infrastructure observing ISO27001/COBIT/NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Install, configure and support network equipment including firewalls, routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
- Configure firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
- Maximise network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Procure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved with network installation
- Arrange scheduled network equipment upgrades and updates
- Investigate faults in the network
- Managing with Cloud Administration and Cloud Infrastructure is preferred( 2)
- ** Key Skills and Qualifications**- **Technical Expertise**:

- Proficiency in **Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes administration**.
- Strong experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Helm).
- CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
- **Automation and Scripting**:

- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plus.
- **Monitoring and Logging**:

- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions.
- **Security and Networking**:

- In-depth understanding of network configurations, security policies, and workload isolation in OpenShift.
- **Linux Administration**:

- Expertise in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and IT administrators.
