**The Role**:
**Where you fit**

Our new end-to-end Chemicals & Products (C+P) organisation is set up to deliver on our strategy of growing our Chemicals business and adapting our Refining footprint to include Energy and Chemicals parks, working alongside our chemicals-only production sites.

Hence, in this role, you will partner with fellow Process Experts in the region (i.e. with the Regional Process Experts OtC & GSAP in the regions as well as other Process Experts for different processes), with various digital Product Owners around the globe, with the Customer Operations organization and with other stakeholders in the C+P organization (including the Polymers organization).

**What’s the role?**

As Process Expert (Projects) for OtC (Order to Cash) & GSAP data, you will be critical to help drive capabilities and improvements globally for all OtC and GSAP data related activities. Your work will focus on new (and ongoing) projects that are designed for structural improvements in the way the Chemicals and Products (C+P) organization operates and interacts with the rest of Downstream.

Further accountabilities are as follows:

- Actively helps/supports the global C+P business and global Transformation and Business Improvement (TBI) community in terms of understanding business processes, complying with them, improving them, training/supporting staff.
- Work on projects that are related to OtC and/or GSAP data, partnering with Regional Process Experts across the world and with peers for other processes (e.g., Sell to Business Customer and Manage Supply Chain). Some of these projects include:

- A major GSAP transition project (to S4 HANA) that requires an understanding and review of existing ways of working and standard operating procedures
- Master Data Management-related projects
- Integration between the Customer Operations organization and the C+P organization
- Integration between the Polymers organization and the rest of the C+P organization; Sustainability; Customer Experience, etc.
- Act as an interface between the digital Product Owners (PO) and the business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to help drive sustainable delivery and continuous improvement in tools and work processes, especially within the umbrella of major projects.
- Partner with fellow Process Experts in the region (i.e., with the Regional Process Experts OtC & GSAP in the regions as well as other Process Experts for different processes), with the various Product Owners around the globe, with the Customer Operations organization and with other stakeholders in the C+P organization (including the Polymers organization).
- Ensure the right process knowledge and capabilities are in place in the region for your process areas - specifically for the projects that you are assigned.
- Project management of discrete projects: sometimes leading discrete projects on behalf of the C+P organization, and at other times partnering with (or taking direction from) other project managers within the C+P organization and beyond. In all cases, the job requires strong organizing skills and excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Serve as primary go-to person for on-boarding and training newcomers. You are responsible for process design/reviews and health checks of allocated processes, including assurance / compliance (CSA).
- Ensure all processes and SOPs/Job Aids reflect agreed ways of working, are kept up to date including specific scenarios, best practices and regional differences. Through that, you operationalize knowledge and information management in your area of expertise.
- Support Global Product Owners with updates, enhancements, upgrades, testing and their local embedment within the regional and global teams.
- Own Data Definitions and keep (master) data quality at required levels, including relevant platform managed data.
- Monitor performance of business controls and process KPIs and provide coaching to others to instill consistent and ongoing process execution.
- Investigate any issues or control failures for learning and improvement.

**What we need from you**
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree with 8 - 12 years of experience.
- Extensive expertise in the commercial, operations or functions is critical in view of credibility to be the go-to person for your area of expertise
- Past experience in SAP and understanding of the Offer to Cash process with use supporting commercial transactions is a very strong plus.
- Experience in change management and project management to deal with complex challenges systematically and in a structured way.
- Experience with migrating to S/4 HANA is preferred.
- Collaborative attitude towards stakeholders, colleagues, and team members with a proven track-record to actively inspire & influence others around.
