JD:
Job responsibility:

- Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of various DBs like MySQL, Postgres, Mongo and HANA.
- She/he should lead designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management.
- She/he should be able to install, deploy new databases and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
- Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
- Responsible for problem escalation to the operations team and third parties.
- Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources are optimally allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance.
- Responsible for providing trend analysis to the production support, system administration and development teams to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management

Skills and Experiences:

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an RDBMS administrator
- 2 years of experience as an SAP HANA and Basis DBA and administrator
- HANA Database performance tuning experience
- AWS Experience is a big plus
