Aria Operations for Networks (aka vRNI) is a product that delivers intelligent operations for software-defined networking and security. It helps customers build an optimized, highly available, and secure network infrastructure across physical, virtual as well as multi-cloud environments. It accelerates micro-segmentation planning and deployment, enables visibility across virtual and physical networks, and provides operational views to manage and scale VMware NSX deployments. You would be working as a part of the Test team and will be owning the end to end testing and automation of the product features. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and use a range of tools and technologies, right from Cloud, Virtualization, Physical devices, Firewalls, Load Balancer to name a few. On the automation front, common skills required are Python, TypeScript/JavaScript and beyond. As a Quality Assurance and Automation Engineer, you will be part of the End to End test and automation team. You’d need a high degree of efficiency and motivation to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment. As a part of the Aria Operations for Networks team, you will have the following goals on: ***Day 1**: Meet your peers and mentor. *** **Quarter 1**: Ramp up on product domain, automation framework and technologies as per team assigned. Also start contributing on initial tasks. ***Quarter 2 and 3**: Own a feature independently - analysing the requirements, performing test planning and execution and also automating the feature. ***Quarter 4 Onwards -** With the domain and working methodology grasped, you would be comfortable taking part in the design discussions as well. You would work collaboratively across other teams and continue to contribute. **The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or** **skills will you be performing on a regular basis?** After the initial ramp-up is over, your regular activities may be modified to suit your professional strengths, but you can expect a variety of the assignments mentioned in the points below: Get assigned to a feature and gain deep understanding from customer usage perspective. Analyse requirements and clarification with PM team. Participate in design discussions and reviews Test plan and lab creation as applicable. Feature execution.
