**Role**:

- Our SDET’s work with Product Managers and Dev Teams to understand features and technical implementation, and ensure industry-beating quality levels focusing on the testability, robustness, and performance of product.
- Be able to understand the software internals, debug issues, and write automated tests with scripting and automation tools
- Be individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to end with mínimal assistance
- Contribute and/or own the development of high quality test automation

**Responsibilities**:

- Independently utilize innovative test methodologies to develop test plans/strategies for owned features.
- Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
- Create and enhance automation tests and test tools
- Develop effective test cases that follow the automation design put in place.
- Add to performance, security and scalability testing efforts
- Write specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform

**Required Skills**:

- 1 - 5 years of experience as Developer or SDET.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies with strong attention to detail
- Passion for Programming in general & problem solving.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- Hands on coding in any programming language(Java, Go Preferrable)
- Good experience in UI & web services testing and automation
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools, test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr Scale
- Experience with Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
- Experience with one or more database technology or queuing technologies
- Postgres, Mongo, Redis, RabbitMQ etc
- Good working experience in performance testing of distributed system
- Good working knowledge of Linux or Shell commands.
- Knowledge on the DevOps/ Kubernetes is a plus.
