**SDET Job Description**

What Is This Role About:
As the SDET, you will be part of the engineering function and contribute at all levels of the test pyramid.

What we need from you:

- Write correct, efficient, clean, robust, and maintainable code.- Develop test automation frameworks as well as write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for our project and our testing tools-
- Participate in code review to learn from others and to teach them as well-
- Bring new ideas - prototype new technologies and libraries that could save time and effort-
- Take a part in planning, defining, and prioritisation of new features-
- Write clear and concise documentation for users of your systems-
- Taking up tasks from start to completion of the successful product feature launches.-
- Building high-quality automation frameworks to cover end to end testing of your owned features.- Owning the complete architecture of automation framework and planning and designing automation for performance, API, and UI for product and data pipelines.

Experience and Qualification:
- BTech in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent).-
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills with great attention to detail, critical thinking,debugging, solid communication, with the ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and report results.-
- 2+ years of software development and testing experience with strong people management skills.Strong coding skills, proficient in at least one object-oriented programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, Python,Swift).- Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.


Teamwork
- Collaboration: ability to work with colleagues in a variety of roles (including engineering, program and product management)
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively at all levels (both technical and non-technical)
- Experience working on a team to ship major features and releases
