Our client is one of the leading insurance firms which provides industry focused services for clients across geographies. We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join their Legal teams in Mumbai.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Legal Counsel India, you will assist in various legal matters, including general corporate issues, regulatory compliance, reinsurance contracts, claims, and innovative reinsurance solutions and transactions.
- Assisting with legal, regulatory, and compliance issues related to product development for property and casualty, as well as life and health re/insurance businesses in the Indian market.

**Role requirements**:

- 8-13 years of post-qualification experience as an India qualified lawyer, preferably with Bar Council registration.
- A Company Secretary qualification would be advantageous.
- Attention to detail, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and excellent written and spoken English are essential.
