
Reservations Agent

**Responsibilities**:
**Reservation Management**:
- **Check availability and rates**: Accurately assess accommodation, transportation, or activity availability for requested dates and provide up-to-date pricing information, including any applicable discounts or promotions.
- **Process reservations**: Efficiently create new reservations, inputting all necessary guest details and preferences accurately into the reservation system.
- **Manage modifications and cancellations**: Assist customers with changing or canceling existing reservations, ensuring all relevant systems and departments are updated.
- **Maximize occupancy/bookings**: Actively suggest alternative dates or options if the initial request is unavailable, aiming to secure a booking whenever possible.
- **Handle group bookings**: Coordinate reservations for groups, including negotiating rates and managing rooming lists.
**Customer Service**:
- **Provide exceptional service**: Go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and create a memorable experience.
- **Offer personalized recommendations**: Suggest relevant attractions, activities, dining options, and local services based on customer interests and preferences.
- **Address customer inquiries**: Answer questions about the property, amenities, local area, and travel arrangements with accurate and helpful information.
- **Resolve customer issues**: Handle complaints and concerns effectively, seeking assistance from supervisors when necessary.
- **Maintain a positive attitude**: Remain courteous and professional even in challenging situations.
**Sales and Marketing**:
- **Upsell and cross-sell**: Promote additional services or products such as room upgrades, meal plans, or activity packages to enhance the customer experience and generate revenue.
- **Stay informed about promotions**: Maintain current knowledge of special offers, packages, and loyalty programs to effectively communicate them to customers.
- **Contribute to marketing efforts**: Assist with marketing initiatives by collecting customer data and feedback, and identifying potential marketing opportunities.
**Administrative Tasks**:
- **Maintain accurate records**: Ensure all reservation details, customer information, and communication logs are accurately recorded in the system.
- **Process payments**: Handle various payment methods securely and efficiently.
- **Generate reports**: Prepare reservation reports and other documentation as required.
- **Collaborate with colleagues**: Communicate effectively with other departments such as front office, housekeeping, and concierge to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- **Adhere to company policies**: Follow all established procedures and guidelines related to reservations, customer service, and data security.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
