System and Network Administrator

**Job Summary**:The System and Network Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems. The role involves ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the IT environment to support business operations effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. System Administration**:

- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX).
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for the highest availability.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

**2. Network Administration**:

- Design, install, and support LAN, WAN, and other network segments.
- Monitor network performance to ensure network availability and reliability.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues and optimize network performance.

**3. Security**:

- Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

**4. Backup and Disaster Recovery**:

- Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures.
- Ensure regular backups of all critical systems and data.
- Implement and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

**5. Troubleshooting and Support**:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for server and network issues.
- Respond to and resolve service tickets and incidents in a timely manner.
- Work with other IT staff to resolve complex technical issues.

**6. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system settings, and procedures.
- Create and update network diagrams, system documentation, and user guides.
- Generate reports on system and network performance, security incidents, and other metrics.

**7. Project Management**:

- Plan and execute IT projects, such as system upgrades, network expansions, and new technology implementations.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet their IT needs.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

**8. PBX Management**:

- Administer and maintain PBX systems, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage VoIP systems, ensuring integration with network infrastructure and optimizing voice quality.
- Implement and maintain call recording and reporting systems as required.

**Qualifications**:Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSE, RHCE) are highly desirable.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a System and Network Administrator or in a similar role.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and configuration.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux server environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and network security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- **Having hands-on experience in PBX.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
