**Where you fit**

We have an exciting position for an NLP Data Scientist to join the NLP Team in Projects and Technology. Our team works on several projects across Shell focusing on developing end-to-end Natural Language Processing solutions. As an NLP Data Scientist, you will work hands-on across project teams focusing on research and implementation of NLP models.

**What’s the role?**

As a NLP Data Scientist your accountabilities are:

- Research new ideas and stay up to date with the world of NLP.
- Assess and advise on most appropriate NLP techniques or approaches for internal use cases.
- Share knowledge and expertise with the team.
- Proactively work with internal stakeholders across time zones and business units.

**What we need from you**
- Master's Degree or PhD in relevant discipline such as Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, AI, Linguistics.
- Minimum 3+ years’ commercial experience in building AI/NLP models.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI techniques and Large Language Models.
- Working knowledge of main NLP libraries.
- Hands-on experience with ML cloud services such as AzureML and/or AWS Sagemaker.
- Able to write clean, well-documented code in Python.
- Experience across the project life cycle, from ideation to delivery.
- Excellent communication skills (both with technical and non-technical audiences) and the ability to work in a team.
