**Job Responsibilities of a CDP**:

- **Food Preparation and Cooking**:

- Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
- Ensure all dishes are visually appealing and consistent in quality.
- **Section Management**:

- Oversee the operations of a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, or sauces).
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth workflow in the kitchen.
- **Supervision**:

- Supervise junior chefs, commis, and trainees working in the section.
- Provide guidance and training to ensure consistent performance and skill development.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure food meets high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Monitor portion sizes and waste to control costs.
- **Hygiene and Safety**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and tools.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- **Inventory and Supplies**:

- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to prevent waste.
- Communicate with the Sous Chef or Head Chef regarding supply needs.
- **Menu Contribution**:

- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new dishes and improve existing ones.
- Provide feedback on menu items and suggest innovative ideas.
- **Problem-Solving**:

- Address any issues that arise during food preparation or service promptly.
- Ensure all equipment in the section is functioning properly.
- **Teamwork**:

- Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
- Maintain a positive and productive atmosphere in the kitchen.
- **Adaptability**:

- Be flexible in taking on additional responsibilities as required, especially during busy periods.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
