**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
- Oversee the integration of automated testing tools and frameworks including Jenkins and Maven to streamline the testing process.
- Provide expertise in GITHUB for version control and collaboration ensuring code quality and consistency.
- Utilize SQL to validate data integrity and perform complex queries for testing purposes.
- Implement and maintain test scripts using Java and Python to automate repetitive testing tasks.
- Manage and track defects using Jira ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Investment Banking Operations.
- Monitor and report on test progress coverage and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.

**Qualifications**
- Possess a strong understanding of GITHUB for version control and collaboration.
- Demonstrate expertise in Jenkins and Maven for continuous integration and build management.
- Have proficiency in SQL for data validation and complex queries.
- Show experience in Java and Python for developing and maintaining test scripts.
- Be skilled in using Jira for defect tracking and project management.
- Have domain knowledge in Investment Banking Operations to ensure compliance and relevance.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis on defects.
- Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality engineering.
- Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential quality issues.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Show attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Be adaptable to a hybrid work model and flexible in day shift timings.

**Certifications Required**

Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent certifications.
