
Front of House Staff

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for friendly, energetic Front of House (FOH) staff to join our team and be the face of our café. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and providing excellent service. As a FOH team member, you’ll assist guests from the moment they enter, helping to ensure their experience is seamless, enjoyable, and memorable.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Greeting & Seating Guests**: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and maintain an inviting atmosphere.
- **Taking Orders**: Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders, providing menu recommendations and answering any questions.
- **Serving Food & Beverages**: Deliver orders promptly and professionally, ensuring customers have everything they need to enjoy their meal.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Check in on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction, respond to requests or issues, and create a positive dining experience.
- **Cash Handling & Billing**: Process orders accurately through the POS system, handle cash and card transactions, and provide receipts.
- **Table Management & Cleanliness**: Clear, reset, and sanitize tables efficiently; keep the dining area neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
- **Assist with Opening & Closing**: Set up the dining area before shifts, help close and clean up after service, and complete any necessary opening/closing duties.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Previous FOH Experience**: Minimum of 6 months in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or a restaurant setting.
- **Customer-Centric Attitude**: Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic about providing exceptional service.
- **Communication Skills**: Clear communicator with the ability to engage with guests and collaborate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams.
- **Time Management & Multitasking**: Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and keep composure under pressure.
- **Attention to Detail**: A proactive approach to identifying and fulfilling customer needs with accuracy and care.
- **Team-Oriented**: Positive attitude with a cooperative mindset, willing to pitch in wherever needed to ensure smooth operations.
