**About the role**

Global investments in emission reductions and carbon emissions are recognized as one of the key pathways to reduce the impact of climate change and meet net zero targets. With deep experience in climate markets, we aim to build technology that helps carbon offset developers make the most from their reduced emissions. As an Intern Climate Market, you would be a part of the team that owns and operates this software and one who engages with stakeholders around the globe on climate market-related issues. We will rely on your research and communication skills to ensure pertinent and accurate information is available to decision makers on their investments in climate markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be the primary source of information on climate markets within your team
- Track international stakeholders on carbon markets
- Prepare carbon documentation (such as Project Design Document) for offset projects and co-ordinate project activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis on carbon markets and communicate findings through effective mediums.
- Perform statistical analysis and build models to analyse carbon inventory pipelines
- Research on the latest practices and tools to boost team performance

**Job Requirements**
- A great attitude and a passion for climate action.
- Post graduate degree / Graduate degree in environment or energy-related fields with some degree of focus on climate markets.
- Solid statistical and MS Excel skills
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of climate policies, carbon protocols and carbon accounting are a big plus.
