Summary:
The Social Media Strategist develops and executes innovative social media campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support broader marketing goals. This individual possesses a deep understanding of social platforms and can creatively translate company objectives into compelling, impactful social media content. They will excel at data analysis to track campaign performance and make strategic recommendations.

**Responsibilities**:
Strategy Development:

- Design comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the brand’s overall marketing plan.
- Conduct in-depth audience research to identify target demographics, interests, and online behaviors.
- Stay informed about emerging social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.

Content Creation and Management:

- Plan and oversee a social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and engaging mix of posts, stories, videos, etc.
- Craft compelling copy that reflects the brand voice and resonates with the target audience.
- Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce high-quality visuals and creative campaigns.

Community Engagement:

- Actively engage with followers across platforms, responding to comments, inquiries, and direct messages promptly and professionally.
- Foster a vibrant online community to increase brand loyalty and advocacy.
- Strategically partner with influencers or brand ambassadors to amplify reach.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

- Utilize social media analytics tools to track key metrics (engagement, reach, website traffic, conversions).
- Prepare insightful reports that illustrate campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Calculate the ROI (Return on Investment) of social media activities.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with other marketing team members to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign integration.
- Stay up-to-date on new products, launches, and company news to align social media activity.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience in social media strategy development and execution.
- Expert knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and potentially others like YouTube, etc.).
- Exceptional copywriting and storytelling abilities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Meta Suite, X Pro).
- Basic graphic design and/or video editing skills is a plus.
