As a Product Designer at Locus, you will be instrumental in designing intuitive and visually compelling user experiences for our logistics platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to develop user-centred designs that solve complex logistics challenges

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Product Designer, you will work alongside a team of Product Designers, Product Managers and developers to drive design research, ideation, and execution across all our product PODs. Your key responsibilities will be:

- Lead the design process from concept to final implementation, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Conduct user research to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and refine product requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Usability test proposed solutions to further refine the final product.
- Create and maintain design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Develop and maintain a consistent design system to ensure a cohesive user experience across all products.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality.
- Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterations as necessary.

**Qualification**:

- Degree in interaction design or related fields, such as user experience (UX) design, human-computer interaction (HCI) or graphic design.
- 2-4 years of experience in product design or a related role.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work and demonstrating your design process.
- Good understanding of the trends, best practices, and interface/interaction guidelines for Web, Android, and iOS platforms
- Proficiency in Figma
- Exceptional UX and UI design capabilities and a strong understanding of core design principles
- A good understanding of design research and deriving behavioural analytics for design decisions
- Good understanding of front-end UI/UX principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to their team
- Obsessed with the tiniest details, ensuring designs are visually stunning and interactively groovy from start to finish.
