**Job Summary**:
The Shift Supervisor will lead and coordinate all production activities during their assigned shift in the steel manufacturing facility. This role requires effective management of production schedules, manpower planning, and ensuring that all operations meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The Shift Supervisor will manage the workforce, track and plan production targets, and provide timely problem-solving and reporting.
- Supervise, guide, and motivate the production team to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment to promote teamwork and meet production targets.
- Ensure team adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Plan and allocate production tasks to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
- Monitor production progress, track timelines, and ensure the timely completion of production targets.
- Adjust production plans as needed to accommodate changing demands or operational challenges.
- Develop and manage the shift schedule for the production team, ensuring adequate coverage and proper resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while meeting production requirements.
- Monitor shift attendance and performance, addressing any issues with manpower coverage.
- Evaluate staffing needs based on production schedules, workload, and operational requirements.
- Ensure that the right number of skilled workers are available for each shift.
- Conduct performance assessments and collaborate with HR to address staffing or training gaps.
- Proactively identify production issues, such as equipment breakdowns, process inefficiencies, or safety concerns, and quickly implement corrective actions.
- Work with maintenance and other departments to resolve technical or operational challenges.
- Encourage team members to report issues and provide feedback on how processes can be improved.
- Maintain and update accurate production records, including shift logs, performance data, and quality control reports.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding production status, issues, and accomplishments.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, or safety.

Pay: ₹9,166.97 - ₹27,816.87 per month
